About the Debutante Ball

1st deb ball
The first KDAS Deb ball, held in 1934

The Kerang and District Agricultural Society Debutante Ball is a social tradition on the district’s calendar. Held annually in the Kerang Memorial Hall in May, thus far over 80 Balls have been held where debutantes and their partners have been presented to family, guests and the local community.

The very first Ag Society Deb ball was held on April 30, 1934. Over Thirteen hundred debutantes have been presented since that time.

When is the Ball?

The ball is generally held in mid-May at the Kerang Memorial Hall.

Tickets will go on sale closer to the ball’s advertised date.

The first training night will be held in March, at the Kerang Memorial Hall.

Our aim is to ensure you have fun and enjoy learning to dance as you prepare to be presented to the wider community at your ‘debut’.
